Hail, future princess of Caldecott Hill?

Having proven herself in Channel 8 dramas like Unriddle 2 and A Song To Remember, student actress Julie Tan will act in three more projects this year, and is surely a princess-in-waiting in local showbiz.

But the 20–year-old, who has signed a five-year contract with MediaCorp, told The New Paper that she knows exactly what path she wants to take in her career.

“I know exactly what path I want to take in my career. I’m not an idol or a star. I’m an actress," she said.

The only child of wealthy parents also talks about what it was like being labelled a rich kid by primary and secondary school mates.
