Hawkers at KTM railway station prepare for exit

SEVERAL months ago, Mr Mohammed Ali Latif made the decision to move out of the Malayan Railway (KTM) railway station at Tanjong Pagar, which ceases operations on June 30.

But after he had been selling nasi briyani at there for the last eight years - he will probably do so with a heavy heart.

By Sunday, most of the food stalls at the railway station will be gone, as it prepares for the move to Woodlands Train Checkpoint on July 1.
