He is rewarded for his tip-off

He was on his way to work at about 11am last Tuesday when he saw a lorry and a car collide on West Coast Highway.

Mr Ahmad Yatim, 42, stopped his vehicle and got out to see if he could help.

The technician then took a picture of the scene with his mobile phone and called The New Paper hotline number.

The story appeared on the front page of The New Paper the next day and Mr Yatim received a $200 voucher for online bookstore NoQ for his tip-off.
