Craftsmen of the French high fashion house Hermes are not pressured to produce their creations under a tight schedule.

Instead, they focus on quality.

Ten craftsmen, ranging from leather artisans to a watch maker, will demonstrate their skills at Hermes' Festival of Crafts, which runs from today till Wednesday at Paragon Mall.

Mr Kamel Hamadou (below, right), a silk printer who is based in France, said that Hermes - which specialises in leather, lifestyle accessories, perfumery and luxury goods - takes two years to produce a new scarf.
