How do the residents of Aljunied GRC feel about being so closely watched by everyone in Singapore during these elections?
The GRC is currently the hottest battleground, with the biggest face-off between the People's Action Party (PAP) and Workers' Party.
Some residents worried how their lives might change if WP wins in Aljunied. One resident, Mr Peter Ho, noted that "currently the living environment is good". "I don't want any change because my family is my priority," he said.
Yet others were "excited" by living in such a hotly-contested area. Resident Wong Kok Wah, 40, said: "It's quite exciting to be in this position. When I go to the market it's a hot topic."
He added: "We cannot be selfish and decide because we are scared the price of the roof over our heads will drop."

In response to Peter Ho's statement, he must be cognizant that change is a given everywhere, all the time, whether he likes it or not! If your family is his priority, he has all the more to embrace change and asking how to secure your children’s future in the midst of change – building a credible and responsible opposition is the best way! Or else having people no avenues to be heard like in many middle eastern countries can lead to people revolution.

WP Hougang SMC HDB Prices Not Much Different From PAP Aljunied GRC
I find it strange PAP keep harping WP win will result in HDB price to fall. But if want look at the HDB records on the HDB website, one can see HDB flats in Hougang Ave 5 which is the heart of Hougang SMC, the prices of the 4-room flats that transacted there are not much different from Hougang Ave 8 which was run by George Yeo's Aljunied GRC. The prices for the last 12 months are as follow (see HDB site below):
