Hour of terror as armed robbers loot their JB home

Singapore Permanent Resident Kevin Lee, 28, had just arrived at work yesterday morning when his mother called with bad news.

Three robbers had broken into his family's home in Taman Pelagi, Johor Bahru, just after midnight.

The parang-wielding men taped their mouths and wrists with duct tape and confined them to an airwell in their terrace house just 10 minute’s drive from the Causeway.

The robbers made off with about $20,000 worth of goods, $4,000 cash, and two of the family’s cars.
