A cabby's 17-year-old daughter was allegedly robbed and groped in a lift at Woodlands, but the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera inside the lift failed to capture any footage as it was a dummy.

A woman saw police officers and a crowd at a small field near City Square Mall and thought there might have been a murder there.

Both The New Paper hotline at 1800-733-4455, and saw their tip-offs published. Each received a $200 voucher at online bookstore NoQ.

Said the cabby: "I wanted this to be made known so people will be aware of this danger."

Read the full report in The New Paper on Friday (June 22).
