But former Ayer Rajah MP Dr Tan Cheng Bok stated that he would not be a yes man.

The 71-year-old became the first to express interest in becoming a candidate for the upcoming presidential elections.

And Dr Teo insists that despite his past involvement with the PAP, he would not simply agree with the party or government if he felt the issue at stake was wrong.
