The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) launched a coffee table book yesterday to mark its 60th anniversary, and among the 18 high-profile cases featured in the book is that of Ah Long San, Singapore's notorious loan shark of the 1990s.

This feared criminal was not caught for a long time partly because he had moles within the police force who tipped him off about raids.
