Jack Neo slammed for insensitive comments

IT was intended as a wake-up call.

But three points in local film-maker Jack Neo's latest entry on his omy blog has raised ire among some readers.

Among some of his comments on his blog was a line that said "the scene of an exploding MRT train moving off with innocent passengers being barbecued inside is a beautiful sight".

Neo's comments came after Lianhe Wanbao published a picture of an MRT train that was vandalised in August.

In an interview with The New Paper from Shanghai last night, Neo said that his comments had been taken out of context.
