Japanese company helps disabled to work

He had dreamed of getting married and starting a family, but he needed to earn an income to do so.

Wheelchair bound and severely disabled since he was a year old, it was an uphill battle for Mr Tatsuo Yamashita, 53.

But thanks to social welfare organisation Japan Sun Industries, which provides training and job opportunities for people with disabilities, he realised his dream at age 30.

He has two daughters and recently became a grandfather.
