Jedward jet to S'pore on a whim

When your idols –- in this case, Irish pop duo Jedward –- make an impromptu trip to your country, chances are you would pull out all the stops just to catch a glimpse of them.

And that’s what their fans did, including one secondary school student who skipped school on Monday.

Jedward -– who comprise 20-year-old twins John and Edward Grimes –- had decided on a whim to make their maiden trip to Singapore.

They touched down here on Sunday night, and on the next afternoon went on the 91.3FM Jed Food Trail, organised by radio station 91.3FM and led by DJ Boy Thunder.
