Just 16 and hooked on cannabis

HE WAS 16 when he started taking cannabis with his friends at HDB carparks and void decks.

John (not his real name) thought that cannabis was a soft drug and would not harm him.

He even went onto the Internet to research the drug, where he found "evidence" which suggested that it was less harmful than taking alcohol or cigarettes.

Then, in August last year, he was arrested at the void deck of his 5-room flat for possession and consumption of cannabis his case is still pending.
