Kiko Mizuhara as Midori

If you follow Japanese fashion, you’d have noticed this svelte model-turned-actress Kiko Mizuhara in Japanese magazines such as Seventeen, Vivi and Nylon, and on the catwalks of Tokyo Girls Collection, a biannual fashion extravaganza.

Believe it or not, this girl’s a Texan. Born in Dallas, Texas, to an American father and Korean mother, this 20-year-old later grew up in Kobe, Japan.

Kiko caught the attention of Vietnamese-French director Tran Anh Hung who cast her in his film, Norwegian Wood.
