Kim Lye recovers after heart bypass

Former international Quah Kim Lye has had a heart bypass and is recovering well at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).

The former striker is a member of the famous footballing family which has produced other local heroes such as Kim Beng, Kim Swee, Kim Siak, and Kim Song.

Kim Lye was taken to hospital by a close family friend on Monday after he starting sweating profusely and feeling uncomfortable.

It was discovered that he had three blocked arteries and on Wednesday he underwent a heart bypass at the Singapore General Hospital.
