Mr Lewis Dediara, 47, was cycling through central London when he saw a man going through a rubbish bin for something to eat (above).

On the spur of the moment, the cyclist offered to buy the man some food and that exchange was caught on a camera mounted on Mr Dediara’s cycling helmet, the Daily Mail reported.

Mr Dediara, 47, later posted the two-minute clip on YouTube because “sometimes London is a place where people don’t take the time to care for others.”

He wrote on YouTube that “there was no way” he was going to allow the man to eat from a bin.

Netizens applauded his actions.
