Has Christopher Nolan finally delivered a family-friendly Batman movie with The Dark Knight Rises?

Opening here today, the movie did not receive a PG13 rating, but instead a very mild PG, the same rating as The Amazing Spider-Man.

Though it still has plenty of hard-hitting action and tells a rather harrowing story, The Dark Knight Rises is nowhere near as horrifying as its predecessor.
