There was a battle of lawyers in Parliament yesterday between Law Minister K. Shanmugam and Member of Parliament Sylvia Lim.
They went head to head regarding the recent conviction of plastic surgeon Woffles Wu.
Dr Wu was fined $1,000 on June 12 for abetting an employee to give false information to the police.
During the heated exchange, Ms Lim was accused of avoiding a question Mr Shanmugam asked three times after she had asked if an Attorney-General's Chambers statement regarding the case had addressed public concerns about the equitability of the legal system.
