Lost dog found after two years, thanks to microchip

A german shepherd dog that ran away two years ago was reunited with its owner last week,- thanks to the details recorded on its microchip.

It turned out that the dog, Eddy, had been leading a pack of strays several kilometres from its home in Upper Bukit Timah.

When it was hurt, a couple who had been feeding the strays helped get it to a vet, where it was scanned and found to be Eddy.
