IF HE had found a bin at Marina Barrage after completing The Big Walk on Sunday (Sept 2), he wouldn't have won a two-night cruise to Kuala Lumpur for his family of four.

Mr Stanley Tan, 45, a racing consultant, had wanted to throw away his Big Walk Bingo cards after failing to find the missing number he needed to complete a vertical row to win, but he couldn't find a rubbish bin and he didn't want to litter.

So he kept the cards.

A day after The Big Walk, on Sept 3, he found out in The New Paper the winning numbers, including the elusive missing number.

He was thrilled to discover that he won the second prize. The first and third prize have yet to be claimed.
