I WAS assaulted by Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers after being arrested, a man has alleged in a police report.
Mr Wan (not his real name), 24, a sales assistant, told The New Paper on Monday that he and his friend were stopped up by a group of officers near a Bukit Batok coffee shop on the evening of June 8.
The two of them were handcuffed and taken to the Jurong police division headquarters for a urine test, he alleged.
While he was there, Mr Wan claimed, he was punched and kicked by the officers.
The CNB said it is aware of his police report.
“We take such allegations seriously and are investigating the matter,” it said.
