Man falls to death from SkyPark

A man fell to his death from the SkyPark, which is on top of the three hotel towers at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), about 200m above ground.

An MBS spokesman said the body was found on a grass verge next to East Coast Parkway at about 2.45pm on Tuesday.

This is believed to be the first case of its kind since the SkyPark opened in June 2010.

The New Paper understands that the man is a 46-year-old tourist from Holland and is not a guest at the MBS hotel.
