A Suzuki MPV was involved in a collision with a motorcycle at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Industrial Park A at about 7am yesterday.

The driver of the MPV, a man in his 30s, suffered head injuries and died later in hospital. The motorcyclist, who was in his 70s, also suffered head injuries but was conveyed conscious to the hospital.

Madam S. Y. Lau, who runs a drinks stall at a nearby coffee shop, saw the accident and tried to rouse the MPV driver as he lay in his car.

She said: "He did not respond and his head seemed to be twitching non-stop."
