Man lies naked next to Somerset MRT station

He stripped naked, showered himself with beer and lay on a grass patch next to Somerset MRT station for almost an hour.

The bizarre incident happened at about 6pm on Tuesday, in the middle of the busy Somerset area.

Witnesses said Mr Lee Tiong Poh, a cleaner in his late 40s who works at the MRT station, appeared to be drunk.

He lay there until the police arrived then ran back to the cleaners’ room at the station, but was arrested. Police investigations are ongoing.
