He was stepping out of the MRT train when he lost his footing and his leg ended up trapped in the platform gap.

The case came just 12 days after a woman had a similar experience – two stations away.

The latest incident happened on Wednesday afternoon at Raffles Place station. In the first case, a woman was trapped knee-deep when her leg slipped into the gap at Bugis Station on June 1.

An SMRT spokesman confirmed the incident. Station staff were alerted when one of the passengers pressed the emergency button on the train.

“Our station staff arrived within a minute. With the assistance of another passenger, the man’s leg was freed,” she said.

The amazing thing about this incident is that,

"Why did similar incidents happen one after the other, once the first one started the process ??"

Would there be a third one coming up shortly ??

Any explanation (scientific or otherwise) for this phenomenon ??

Please lah people !    What are your eyes for ?  Mind your steps lah !

Dun use your eyes to goggle at opposite sex to avoid such uncalled for incidents !
