THE family of Mr Jason Lim had hoped to get answers about his last moments from the last man to have seen him alive when he turned up for the lorry driver's funeral.

However, they were upset further after hearing the lorry attendant's account of the events that claimed Mr Lim's life when his crane-lorry rolled off a barge off Pasir Panjang Terminal on Saturday afternoon.

Mr Lim's Thai wife, Madam Samai Chatthahan, 27, was shocked after the man, who is known to the family as Shan, said that he thought her husband had tried to save the lorry instead of jumping to safety.
