Move over Tiger Mum, here's Eagle Dad

YOU’VE heard of Tiger Mum Amy Chua, whose strict upbringing of her two children ignited controversy.

Now meet Eagle Dad, whose brand of tough love includes making his four-year-old son run in -13 deg C weather in New York while clad only in his undies.

The 44-year-old entrepreneur, identified only as Mr He, told the Yangtze Evening News that he ordered the boy, He Yide, to run in the 20cm-thick snow for five minutes and to do push-ups, despite his trembling and cries for a hug.

He uploaded the video online and even called it the "eagle dad" parenting approach.
