Mum, baby die after fall from 25th storey

A Chinese national, 33, fell to her death from the 25th floor of an HDB block in Sengkang yesterday.

Her six-month-old daughter was in her arms.

At about 12.30am, residents on the lower floors of Block 434B at Fernvale Road were startled by a loud bang.

The mother and child had landed on the roof of the central rubbish chute.

They were pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
