Murdered woman's flatmate to be remanded for another week

THE WOMAN who has been accused of murdering her housemate has been remanded for another week.

Ang Soo Hoon (above), a 36-year-old derivatives trader better known as Ash, was charged last week with the murder of property agent Celine Ng Swee Peng, whose decomposed body was found in Clementi Woods on July 5.

Her lawyer, Mr Subhas Anandan (below), had applied for permission to speak to his client in front of the investigation officer and deputy public prosecutor to inform her of her right - an application that was turned down by District Judge Lim Tse Haw.
