Teacher Linda Lim thought she had everything sorted when she booked nine tickets for Brisbane for $8,397 through a tour agency, Tourist World Travel Service, for her family and her friend's family.

But more than a month later, when she wanted to change airlines, she found out that her tickets had never been booked.
