RETIREE Edwin See Toh may have spent more than $20,000 on his impressive collection of speakers, but he can't play some of his favourite songs.

That's because the speakers take up so much space in the living room of his five-room HDB flat in Ang Mo Kio, he can't access the spaces where some of his 5,000-odd CD collection are stored.

The collection began a result of a challenge Mr See Toh, who turns 66 this year, gave himself in September 2008 - to see how many speakers he could fit in his living room.
