National bowler in 'hit-and-run' accident saga

Inhuman, cruel and a disgrace to Singapore sport.

This is what netizens are calling national bowler Remy Ong, 33, after he hit a stray dog with his Porsche sports car along Changi Coast Road, then left the scene, leaving behind his car’s licence plate.

The dog died from the injuries.

News of the incident went viral online after cyclist Danny Ng posted a picture of the dog and Ong’s licence plate, along with an account of what happened.

Ong said he didn't immediately realise he had hit the dog.
