The New Paper's report on Wednesday about mothers who keep watch over their kids at cyber cafes in the wee hours of the morning has caused a stir.

Some readers said these mums were being irresponsible. Mut Madam Yanti Destriyanti and Madam Ernie Sumarni, who spend long hours with their sons at LAN gaming centres, may be a new breed of mum who have found their own ways of parenting their kids.
