The much-anticipated Madagascar: A Crate Adventure ride opened yesterday at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) to great fanfare, though there was a hitch.
For 20 minutes, the ride was stuck dead in its tracks.
Resorts World Sentosa spokesman, Robin Goh, said that the ride had stopped when "a park guest exited the ride in the wrong direction, which triggered safety precautions to be activated."
The boats are designed to look like they were built from crates and the guests are taken on an adventure with characters from the Madagascar movies.
The entire ride is approximately 9 minutes long, making it one of the longest attractions at USS in duration.
