No deal for online deals

As customers of online coupon site Outlet.com.sg turned up to its office in Boat Quay to redeem their discounted purchases, they were met by employees from a liquidation company.

A check with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (Acra) yesterday revealed that Volotek, the company that runs Outlet.com.sg, is under liquidation.

The news has sent its customers and merchants reeling over their potential losses from pre-booked holidays and other items.
