Nomination Day

NOMINATION Day is a serious affair, but there was plenty of colour too.

Thousands flocked to the nine schools-turned-nomination centres yesterday morning to cheer their respective party candidates on.

Some ladies, dressed like they were at a summer fashion parade, nearly outdid the candidates in grabbing eyeballs.

And for those who believe the way to a candidates' heart is through the stomach - well, they can buy sushi rolls named after PAP's Tin Pei Ling and NSP's Nicole Seah.
