When it comes to pushing the envelope, you can trust popular Channel 5 satirical variety show The Noose to come up with witty parodies of local social issues.
So you'd expect The Noose to be skewering the recent elections, right?
Wrong. Politics is strictly out of bounds, its cast and crew told The New Paper.
"We would love to talk about the GE, but we're not the United States. They can make fun of their President and get away with it. We're governed by a different code," said The Noose senior research writer, Prem Anand.
