One dead in Robinson Road fire

A fire broke out yesterday on the sixth floor of Afro Asia building, located in the Central Business District, at 63 Robinson Road.

The office unit, which caught fire, is beleived to have broken out at a small law firm, B Rengarajoo & Associates.

The building's occupants managed to evacuate, except for one casualty, who was pronounced dead by SCDF paramedics at the scene.

The body, charred beyond recognition, is believed to be that of a woman.
