11-year-old Ye Yi Xiu has participated in some 15 beauty pageants since she was 4.

THEY'RE not even in their teens and they've participated in multiple beauty pageants.

Some even in international pageants.

And their parents spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on their daughters for gowns, hair and make-up and jewellery.

But, Singapore mums stop short of sending their children for cosmetic enhancements.

What drives them?
