Three pieces of metal cladding fell from the roof of the 30-storey Prudential Towers at Cecil Street yesterday evening, hitting a BMW and taxi parked in the vicinity.

The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger in the cab escaped unhurt, scampering to safety.

A cladding is a cover typically found on building exteriors. The metal pieces fell about 10m apart, with the longest piece measuring about 1.2m.

How can passengers run? By definition, passengers are people who are in a vehicle. You mean they run inside a BMW (as in the headline).

It became clear once you read the story, though !
