ALL the young couple wanted were two children to complete their family.

When their second son was born in 2007, they were overjoyed. But their happiness was short-lived when he died from pneumonia three months later, after sustaining head injuries when his mother supposedly dropped him after being startled by a cyclist.

John and Mary (not their real names) decided to have another child soon after, but that, too, ended in tragedy after the two-month-old fell ill and was not given immediate medical attention.

Their remaining two children have been put in foster care.

The New Paper spoke to the parents on how they've coped with being blamed for their children's deaths.
