Where did Liverpool go wrong against Newcastle? They started the game, that's where!

The starting XI were not good enough, and no one played as well as they could. There wasn't a single player on the pitch who did himself justice.

Look at the match statistics. Liverpool had only two shots on target. Two shots! That's just not good enough for a club of their stature, and against a mid-table club like Newcastle.

The only thing Reds boss Kenny Dalglish can do now is to get through the season and hope they win the FA Cup.
