It's now four wins from as many games since Roberto Di Matteo took over the reins at Chelsea from Andre Villas-Boas.
The New Paper's columnist Barry Whitbread believes that while it's the Italian's man management style which has got his players firing again, he isn't the best man to take on the Blues' hot seat permanently.
He says that the Blues players are only playing for Di Matteo because, unlike AVB, he is not a threat to the futures of the influential cabal of senior players as he is just there to steady the ship with the current crew till the end of the season.
Whitbread believes that because of this, Chelsea should appoint a man from outside the club at the end of the season, one with a strong personality to take the Chelsea forward.
