Ronaldo rules out mega-deal with City

REAL Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has quashed rumours linking him with a move to cash-rich Manchester City.

English tabloids recently reported that the forward is on the verge of a mega-deal with the Sheikh-owned club worth £150 million ($303 million) and a weekly salary of £400,000.

The deal would smash the previous transfer record set by Ronaldo himself when he moved from Manchester United to Madrid for £80 million in 2009.

Ronaldo, 26, said: "I am not thinking about leaving Real Madrid," he told Marca. "I'm very happy here. I'm great."
