THEY won gold from their exploits in the pool in Palembang on the first day of SEA Games swimming action on Saturday.

However, Joseph Schooling and Tao Li failed to replicate their gold haul yesterday, having to settle for bronze medals in the men's 100m butterfly and women's 200m backstroke.
