Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Landscape Design and Horticulture students will soon get to study in a classroom amid the lush greenery of a neighbourhood park.

A learning facility called Greenhub will be launched in Clementi Woods Park in October, when the new school semester begins, as part of a tie-up between the polytechnic and the National Parks Board.

Measuring 149 sq m (slightly smaller than the size of two badminton courts), the classroom is equipped with audio-visual equipment for lectures and tutorials for up to 50 students. NParks will also use the venue for training programmes and community events, such as gardening-related workshops.
