CHALETS are a common school holiday activity for teenagers.

While some chalet stays are just that - regular teenage fun outings - some are more sinister.

Former gang members told The New Paper that chalets are common breeding grounds for illegal activities among youth - from alcohol to drug abuse - that sometimes lead to orgies.

Social workers said that youth who participate in these orgies do not always come from broken homes, as was sometimes stereotyped in the past.
