'She's no longer in pain'

Even as he was mourning the loss of his wife, he was clarifying reports about her death and illness.

Singaporean finance executive Liu Chee Ming, 62, refuted Hong Kong media reports about his spouse, former Hong Kong actress Jacqueline Law, on Saturday.

With eyes red from crying, Mr Liu spoke to reporters during her wake at the Grace Hall at Mount Vernon Columbarium.

She died in Singapore at about 5am the same day, at the age of 46, from pancreatic cancer, which she suffered from for the last two years.
