A silat group and others involved in welcoming Britain's Prince William and his wife during their visit here are all prepped for the big occasion.
Miss Nurul Widyasari Bazuri will be part of a silat showcase when the royals head for Queenstown on Wednesday, and she is thrilled as she can get to see her idol, Ms Kate Middleton, in person.
Similarly, Dr Yam Tim Wing, who has helped breed a new orchid that will be named by the royal couple, is happy about the visit as he is also their fan.
Also looking forward to the visit is Mr Jerome Lim. He met Queen Elizabeth II as a child when she visited his Toa Payoh flat in 1972, and he hopes to see royalty in the flesh again at Gardens by the Bay.
