Last week, newly-formed organisation Obedient Wives Club (OWC) launched in Malaysia to much controversy.
Now, three Singaporeans who are the club's representatives here plan to start a Singapore branch soon.
OWC has been the target of ridicule and amusement ever since it was launched in Rawang.
Its stated objective: Encouraging wives to be more subservient to Muslim husbands, and make love better than “first-class prostitutes”.
Critics, both Muslim and non-Mulsim in Malaysia and throughout the world have slammed the stand as degrading to women.
The New Paper spoke with the club's Singapore representatives.
